Hi guys, some of you know me as "Thriller", some as "Churly", whoever you know me as, you may see me as 'awkward'. Well, I like being awkward! If you knew me in real life, you'd know its just my character, but I'm not here to talk about that.
I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but this fan-fic was based on a Pokemon Table-Top RPG a school kid created, and it got a lot of players, myself included. Most of the characters and events you'll see in this story actually happened over the course of the game.
Now, I'll admit the story is clumsily written, but this wasn't really a serious attempt at writing a fan-fic from the start (which is why I'm hosting it on blogger, so no forum mods could lock it >:D ). To try and make up for this, I'm going to summarize the events per chapter.
Chapter 1:
- Jake from Pallet Town starts his Pokemon journey. He is given a Weedle by Professor Oak.
Chapter 2:
- Jake meets Matthew and has a Pokemon battle, with Jake winning.
- Jake meets Marble, whom captures a Magikarp.
Chapter 3:
- Jake is rescued from a flock of angry Spearows by Brian and his Pikachu.
- Jake arrives at Viridian City, and there meets Matthew, and two new trainers Adam & Gary Oak. He discovers Matthew, Adam & Gary each recieved their Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle from Professor Oak.
- Jake first hears about Ash Ketchum.
- The four trainers observe the mysterious Alex.
Chapter 4:
- While in Viridian Forest, Jake discovers a mysterious cat-like Pokemon inside a house.
- Jake's Weedle evolves into a Kakuna.
Chapter 5:
- Jake captures a Pikachu, but discovers it's Thundershock is faulty.
- Jake and Adam have a Pokemon battle, with Jake winning.
Chapter 6:
- Jake decides not to go on a Badge Quest, instead choosing to just explore with his Pokemon.
- Jake discovers his Pikachu's state of depression.
Chapter 7:
- Jake's Pikachu successfully wins its own battle, cheering it up.
- Jake runs into a crazy person known as "The Psycho". The Psycho can transform into anything it wants.
- While swimming in a fountain, Jake's Pikachu becomes Pikablu and can now properly use Thundershock, as well as Water Gun.
Chapter 8:
- Matthew, Adam, and a new trainer named Andy start climbing Mt. Moon.
- They meet Brian who promises fossils.
- Adam reveals he nicknamed his Charmander "Flarey."
- Adam reveals he has a Jigglypuff named "Squigglystuff."
- He captures a Clefairy and nicknames it "Pinko."
- Brian finds the group fossils.
- Adam, Andy & Matthew acquire the Dome Fossil, the Fang Fossil, and the Helix Fossil, respectively.
- Adam, Andy, Matthew & Brian meet Jessie, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket.
-"Flarey" evolves into a Charmeleon.
- The four trainers meet a mysterious hooded trainer with a Ponyta.
Chapter 9:
- Marble has started his journey, he reveals he has a Psyduck named "Bill" and nicknamed his Magikarp "Meaky."
- His goal to be a Dragon-Type Gym Leader is revealed.
- He captures a Gyarados.
- Using his new Gyarados, Marble stops a Rocket from robbing a Cerulean family.
Chapter 10:
- Jake evolves his Kakuna into a Beedrill.
- It's revealed Jake captured a Paras and a Clefairy while on Mt. Moon.
- Jake meets up with Adam and meets Andy, and a new trainer, Jason.
- Jake comes across the Psycho at Cerulean Gym, and after causing a commotion, the Psycho is committed into a Mental Institution.
Chapter 11:
- Jake has a battle with Alex, with Jake winning.
- Alex gives Jake an ominous warning.
Chapter 12:
- Marble rescues and captures an abandoned Dratini, and makes it his mission to find and rescue its kidnapped family. The hooded Ponyta rider observes.
Chapter 13:
- Jake discovers the exclusive Pokemon "Steelkat."
- Jake meets Ash Ketchum, and Misty & Brock, the Gym Leaders of Cerulean and Pewter City.
- Jake tells Ash about the "Four Stats:" Fighters Promise, Psychic Ability, Awareness and Endurance.
Chapter 14:
- Andy & Jason discover a mysterious gate.
Chapter 15:
- Jake arrives in Celadon City and decides to put his Clefairy, Paras, and a Venonat he captured into the PC.
- Jake goes to the Rocket Casino, where Andy & Jason are snooping, and causing explosions.
- Jake and Matthew team up, and explore the upper levels of the casino.
- Andy & Jason meets a mysterious creature (psst, not necessarily a Pokemon).
Chapter 16:
- Jake loses Matthew.
- Andy reveals he owns a Rhyhorn.
- Andy & Jason entraps Giovanni and interrogates him.
- Andy reveals the "Human-Type" Pokemon, Ninja.
- Jason asks Giovanni about "Operation I.S.O.".
- Ninja explodes the room, and the Rocket Casino collapses, trapping Andy, Jason, Giovanni and Jake.
Chapter 17:
- Marble and his Dratini discover Dratini's home.
- Jake wakes up and finds himself in the Casino Basement.
- Jake comes across a disk with a Porygon in it, and captures the Virtual Pokemon.
- Jake comes across a Pokeball with a Scyther in it, acquiring the violent Pokemon.
- Jake meets the hooded Ponyta rider.
- Jake escapes the Rocket Casino.
Chapter 18:
- While exploring Saffron Tunnels, Adam is taunted by some Hell's Angels.
- Adam reveals his Pikachu nicknamed "Sparky."
- Adam also reveals his Zubat nicknamed "Batty."
- Adam has changed the nickname of his Charmeleon to "Blaze."
- "Blaze" evolves into a Charizard but now becomes disobedient.
- Adam receives a mysterious invitation.
Chapter 19:
- Andy, on a mission to deliver something to Bill of Cerulean Cape, gets mugged. One of his Pokemon stolen.
- Jake discovers he can use his Porygon to travel between cities via internet.
- Jake discovers a secret laboratory which hid Alex, who apparently dyed his hair.
- Jake receives from Alex a vial of liquid, with "KO-35" written on its label.
- Alex again warns Jake, but this time, a little less ominously.
Chapter 20:
- Jason explores Kanto Power Plant.
- Jason finds 100 Max Revives.
- Jason discovers and captures "Mechachu."
- Jason apparently discovers the legendary Pokemon Zapdos.
