One last post for February!

Got one chapter finished, but I want to release two at one time. The next chapter happens to be a Battle Episode, which are always tough for me to write. Next up is an arc though, and I usually fly through those, those are fun to write!

After that, in a few more of chapters, the story will be 75% done!

It's almost Spring Break season though, so I might not get much time to write.

Chapter 72: Secrets Kept

“It sure is drafty down here.” John said, climbing down a ladder to a lower part of the airship he and Psycho were held captive. “What do you see down there Psycho?” John asked to Psycho, who was down farther.
“There seems to be an odd glow in the chamber below.” Psycho answered. It was very drafty in the room below, John & Psycho could hear atmospheric noises combined with propellor whirls.
“What is that Orange glow?” John asked, observing at the glow further down the hall.
“Lets follow it and see.” Psycho said, and the two ran to the glow.

John & Psycho were greeted with a machine, one that appeared to be one for life support. Inside the tube was an Orange apparition. From inside appeared to be the noises of a purr a cat makes. “What... is it?” John asked Psycho.
“Whatever it is, something seems so... Familiar about it!” Psycho responded.
“Yahoe Yahoe!” said Yahoe, who popped up. Yahoe fluttered onto the tube and started dancing on top of it.
“What is it Yahoe? Has something about it excited you?” Psycho asked.
“Think we should open the tube?” John asked, and he walked up to the console to look at the buttons...

*SLASH*

“AAAAAGH!” John screamed in agony. He looked at his pained wrist and saw the base had been slashed somehow, and was bleeding.
“I am sorry, but you will be doing NOTHING of the sort.” said a voice from behind. John & Psycho turned around and saw a young kid wearing a hood. His eyes held the most wicked, devious glare. Nothing appeared more evil to even Psycho. “You must NOT awaken Operation I.S.A.” the kid said. “It was hard to confine it in the first place. Unfortunately, the two of you have discovered one of my Secrets. Only I can know my Secrets. I must now kill you.” he said, with such evil, wicked, confident intent.
“Oh know you don’t!” said Psycho, as he launched to the kid growing sharp blades onto his fingers like Wolverine.
“Go Alakazam!” the kid said, throwing a Poke Ball.
“Alakazam!” said his Alakazam.
“Alakazam, Psychic!” he commanded.
“Kaaaaa-ZAM!” said Alakazam, firing a Psychic blast to Psycho, who completely deflected the attack.
“Wh-AAT?” the kid shouted kind of distinctly.
“Haha, Psychic power cannot harm me. I am Human/Psychic, and I have a Psychic Ability score of 100!” Psycho said to the trainer.
“Something else has a high Psychic Ability score?” the kid said. “That cannot be!” he said, kind of worried.

“This buys me time to free this Orange thing.” John said. “Go Mankey!” he said, throwing a Poke Ball.
“Mankey!” said Mankey.
“Lets see, Mankey knows Call a Helicopter and Punch the Ground. Neither of those will really help.” John thought to himself. “I know what to do!” he said, taking out a Random TM from his backpack.
“Mankey!” said Mankey, excited to learn a new move.
“Okay Mankey, with this Random TM, I teach you Dragon Rage!” John said, writing “Dragon Rage” onto the Random TM’s Label. John then broke the TM onto Mankey, who absorbed the powder.
“Mankey!” said Mankey, ready.
“Alright Mankey!” John said. “Use Dragon Rage!” he commanded. Mankey had a very angry look in his eyes, they turned Cobalt Blue, and he screamed.
“MAAAAANKEY!” Mankey screamed, and jumped onto the machine tube, and started punching it very aggressively and hard.

“You’re a Human-Type Pokemon?” The kid said. “Hah, good. I’ll just capture you and use your powers for myself.” he said, pulling out an Ultra Ball.
“Haha, bad news bub!” Psycho said. “I’ve already been captured, by my partner John!”
“Wh-AAT?” the kid said again distinctively. “Well, the good news is, now I know how powerful you Human-Type Pokemon can be. I’ll have to keep my eyes out for you guys.”
“The Human-Type Pokemon would NEVER work for you.” Psycho said. “What have you done with Ninja?”
“Ninja?” the kid said.
“John & I were attacked by an army known as “Ninjas.” All of them were exact copies of my Human-Type brother, Ninja!” Psycho explained.
“Heh, Ninja is still alive.” the kid responded. “His trainer became, out of commission lately. And since regular Pokemon can’t talk, I doubt he’s found his way back to his body.”
“Body?” Psycho said.

*CRASH*

“Hah! Good work Mankey!” John commended.
“MANKEY!” Mankey said, roaring with power successfully destroying the tube of the machine that contained the Orange glow.
“Rrrrrrrr-OAR!” sounded the Orange glow, and it shot into the wall of the room, making a hole in the aircraft which sucked everyone in slowly. John and Psycho grabbed onto something and John recalled Mankey.
“What have, you done?” the kid said solemnly. “You have... I’m gonna FUCKING KILL YOU!” he said with pure anger in his eyes. He clasped his hands together, and started charging power.
“Oh crap! We got him pissed!” Psycho said rather casually.
All of a sudden, two figures Teleported into the room. One was a Human-Human woman and the other was a Purple, Bipedal Cat Pokemon. “Jason, stop!” said the woman, grabbing him and hoping to stop him. “You two, get out now, while you can!”
“Okay.” John said. “Charmeleon, lets go!” he said, tossing a Poke Ball.
“Meleon!” said Charmeleon.
“Transform into a Jetpack, now!” John commanded.
“Meleon!” said Charmeleon, getting into position and transforming into a Jetpack. John strapped on the Jetpack, Psycho shrunk and clunged onto John, and the two escaped the damaged aircraft...

List of Exclusive Pokemon thus far.

Yeah, I did create new Pokemon for this story. As I've hinted in the past, much of this story was conceived in the year 2000. Gold & Silver weren't out yet, Marill was still "Pikablu" and with rumors of "Poke' Gods" in Red & Blue, creating Pokemon was pretty popular in my schoolyard. I know a lot of these are poorly named, but most of these actually weren't created by me. "Ninja", for example, as stupid & unoriginal as its name is, was created by the Game Master. Ninja being a "Human-Type Pokemon", however, was something I added in.

"Human-Type Pokemon" was a joke me & the guy behind the character Adam created as a way to role play with movie characters as Pokemon (yes, it's as crazy and stupid as it sounds). When I decided to start writing this Fan fic, I had planned not to include Human-Type Pokemon at first, but since there were things I can work with, I ultimately decided to put it in.

Here is a list of all Created Pokemon thus far. This includes Yahoe, Leggy, and Datin:

Pikablu
Electric/Water
A Pikachu evolved into a Pikablu as it suffered from a case of depression, or the Blues...

Steelkat
Normal/Steel
A Basic Cat Pokemon with metal plates around its legs and claws, and a mask made of metal.

Ninja
Human/Fighting
First Human-Type Pokemon to be revealed. A Pokemon who wears a karate Gi and has Bart Simpson style hair. For some reason, can create deadly bombs with random objects.

Metal-Plated Golduck
??
After discovering Alex’s secret laboratory, Jake observed a peculiar Metal-Plated Golduck. What could this be?

Yahoe
??
A strange, green bird creature, with a mouth under its beak, and tiny wings under its hairy shoulders. It is not confirmed this is even a Pokemon.

Tar Fossil
Revived into Sabre

Frostee
Ice/Rock
A Fossil Pokemon revived from the Dew Fossil. Freezes its opponents and shatters them with rocks.

Sabre
Fire/Rock
A Fossil Pokemon revived from the Tar Fossil. Its Sharp Fangs can cause searing burns.

Rapte’
Dragon/Rock
A Fossil Pokemon revived from the Scale Fossil. Can run faster than any human. Its fangs can be very fatal.

Voodookoo
Human/Ghost
A Humanoid with a skull mask, and carrying voodoo dolls.

Mewthree
Psychic
A Brand new clone of Mew, created in unison with her brother.. Mewthree is light Blue in color, has a body similar to Mewtwo, but with four arms, and is a little smaller than Mewtwo. Captured by Alex.

Leggy
??
A generic Rabbit creature who is claiming to be a Pokemon. Its apparent moves include “Super Kick.”

Datin
??
A odd combination between a Tiger and a Wolf. Blue, Yellow, and white in color, Datin is also claiming to be a Pokemon. It should be noted that, while Datin isn’t confirmed to be a Pokemon, its signature move “Torpedo” has apparently been learned by Adam’s Raichu, and Jake’s Pikablu. Datin also knows "Mega Bite."

Psycho
Human/Psychic
The first Human-Type Pokemon to appear, but wasn’t revealed to be one until much later. Apparently has a Psychic Ability of 100 and as a result, he can turn his body into anything he wants, but its made him mentally crazy. Met John in the Mountains of Mystery and since teaming up, Psycho seems to be doing better mentally.

Domino Hurley
Human/Ghost
A Grim Reaper Pokemon. Can stop Pokemon from attacking and then knocks them out.

Mr. Math
Human/Normal
A Math Geek who wears suspenders and has calculators for hands. Special Attack: Calculator Smash!

Froglett
Water
A basic Frog Pokemon, nothing more. Evidently evolves into a Dragon-Frog Pokemon named “Dragofflet”, but since the only Froglett in the story was killed really quickly, guess we won’t be seeing the first Water/Fire type.

Tadpolet
Water
If Froglett is captured for the first time, it deevolves into Tadpolet.

Hydrus
Water/Psychic
A Brain Pokemon that can control the Water around it.

Cyber Mew
Psychic
A Pokemon that contains the power of Mew in a cybernetic body. Can do anything Porygon can do.

Omdebot
Fire/Fighting
A Potato with Flamethrowers.

Manateena
Water/Ice
An evolved form of Dewgong after touching a Mist Stone.

As for the story itself, I'll get back to writing it eventually. There's been a tragedy in my family recently, and everyone's still adjusting. Work still eats up a lot of my time and my brain power, so I haven't had much of a chance to brainstorm the story. I am committed to finishing this, however. Since 2001 this story has been stuck in my head, seeding and growing. It's almost shameful that I turn 26 this year, and have all this foolishness in my head. I just have to move on.

There's just so much left to write! There's gonna be an arc at the Pokemon League, and its aftermath, another character will appear in the Southern Islands, Andy needs to be written back in somehow, we gotta check back in with Marble (who's busy training on an Oil Rig), Jake's got one more big adventure after the Southern Islands, and of course, all the characters will be involved in the Grand Finale (and thank goodness most of that is already brainstormed up!).

I just hope I can finish this in 2012.
