John decided to skip going to Viridian City and head straight for the Mountains of Mystery. The Mountains of Mystery were located north of Mt. Moon, a part of the same Mountain Range. Nobody has really bothered to explore the North part of Kanto, so nothing has been charted. About three quarters of the way past the Viridian Forest, the Helicopter started to sputter down. "Oh no, what's happening?" John asked, looking at the helicopter's dashboard. The fuel gage read empty. "Oh shit, I'm going down!" John said.
Jake was driving down the freeway between Pewter and Viridian City over Viridian Forest. In his passenger seats were Ash, his Pikachu, Misty and Brock. "Hey guys, look at that!" said Ash, a helicopter looking like it was about to crash descended by them, and landed in the river.
"Wow, whoever's on board lucky they landed in water." said Jake, and he drove down the lane.
John was in the downed Helicopter caught in the currents of the river, and the Helicopter was sinking. "Oh man, now would be a good time to make a new TM." he said. "Let's go Geodude!" he released Geodude from its Poke Ball. John then took out a Random TM and wrote on its label "Create Scuba Set" and broke it onto Geodude, the powder cackling.
"Geodude!" said Geodude.
"Alright Geodude, Create a Scuba Set!" John commanded. Geodude crossed its arms behind its back, and pulled out a full Scuba Set! "Good work Geodude!" said John, putting the Scuba Set on. "Now return!" he said, recalling Geodude as Rock Pokemon were weak to water.
John broke the helicopter door open and hopped out of the sinking Helicopter and into the rough currents of the river. He quickly dove down and avoided each rock the current brought him to. All of a sudden, a waterfall appeared. "Aw, shit!" John thought to himself. Sure enough, John fell down the waterfall. Fortunately, the water on the bottom had no rocks, and he survived the fall. "Look, there seems to be a cave down there." John pointed out to himself. He swam into the cave, but fool him forgot he didn't have a light. The tunnel was very dark, but a small shimmer was in the distance. John squeezed under the tunnels, it was tough for him, and the rocks were breakable, so he had to be careful. After awhile, he bumped into something squishy and hard. It was a living creature, and it seemed it was turning its body. Its large, dopey eyes opened into Johns.
"Sloooooooooow-poke." said the creature, evidently the Pokemon Slowpoke. John took one look at it, and smashed a Poke Ball onto Slowpoke, transforming the Pokemon into energy which transfered into the Poke Ball. The Poke Ball shook, and John grabbed it to force it to stop. Eventually, the Poke Ball stood still.
"Ok, I'll deal with you later." John said to the Poke Ball. He continued swimming forward, until the water became stinky and sticky. It felt like he was swimming through human fecal matter! He swam threw the shit and eventually arrived in what looked like a sewer. He climbed out of the sewage water next to a ladder going up and disposed of the now covered with feces scuba gear, Geodude could make another anyway.
John climbed up the ladder, lifted up the manhole, and crawled out of the sewers in the now-at Pewter City. He could see the Mountains of Mystery from his POV.
