Chapter 90: Inner Secrets

It was a mildly cloudy day in the swampy Marl Islands to the West of Shaba Island in the Southern Islands. Amongst the quiet atmosphere and the bonefish in the shallow sea waters, a Purple convertible shot through the seas, modified to work over water. It was Jake, and he was making a stop at Shaba Island to prepare himself for the last Southern Island Gym in Hole in the Island. “We will be arriving at Shaba Island within 5 minutes.” said the familiar, computerized, feminine voice of Jake’s Porygon, now a Porygon 2 and responsible for altering Jake’s car.
“Awesome! Hope to catch some rest while there!” Jake said, and he continued on driving, until all of a sudden, the skies turned grey and rainy. “Huh? Oh no!” Jake said, and he sped up, seeming in desperation.

On Shaba Island, at the Great Shaba Boat Harbour Resort, Jason and his cohorts, Sabrina and Lt. Surge were walking around the bar and pool, close to one of the restaurants. Jason had still borne a stringent look in his eyes. “Sabrina, tell me, how is Mewtwo doing?” Jason asked.
“Mewtwo will be able to walk by tonight.” Sabrina answered. “But master, I really think you should stop relying on Mewtwo so much. I know how overpowered the Psychic type is as much as you do, but as you have witnessed yourself, Mewtwo isn’t unstoppable.”
“I don’t care about that anymore.” Jason responded. “That was on official Pokemon Battle, I was only allowed to use Mewtwo. But I have all four official Kanto Legendaries. I have Secrets about them.”
“What the hell have you been doing?” Lt. Surge intervened. “You keep jabbering on about Secrets, and you’ve been increasingly going mad.”
“I have to agree...” Sabrina said. Jason then stepped forward, and twisted his head so his stringent eyes met Sabrina & Lt. Surge’s.
“Well, maybe someday you will find out about them.” Jason answered, with a surprising different tone.

Jake was driving east of the Shaba Island coast. He was quickly distracted by several yachts in one of the harbors. “Wow! Awesome! I got plenty of money, I know where I’m going!” Jake said, as he pulled into the harbor of the Great Shaba Boat Harbour Resort.
Jake had gotten off at the closest dock, thankfully it was high tide, making it easy to get out of his car. “Porygon 2, exit out!” Jake commanded.
“Pooooor!” Porygon 2 said as it materialized out of the car, causing it to sink without buoyancy. Jake promptly recalled his car into its Item Ball.
“Alrighty then!” Jake said, walking down the pier and taking in the fresh, briny air. It looked like there was a market up ahead. Jake approached.

In the market, the moods were vibrant and the tourists were enjoying their Banana Daiquiri's and Bush Whackers. Kids playing volleyball and limbo, and swimming in the pool were aplenty. There were many booths offering fresh local island produce. “Nice to finally see something a bit more laid back.” Jake said, after observing the many “party” islands. Just then a particular trio caught Jake’s eye. “Hey, wait a minute...” Jake said, squinting to distinguish each of their faces, all of which Jake was familiar with.
It was Alex, the Assassin, and Giovanni, boss of Team Rocket. “What? What are the three of them doing together? What are they planning?” Jake asked himself. “And this is the first time I’ve SEEN the Assassin since he murdered Ash! Just who is he?” Suddenly, Giovanni, Alex and the Assassin walked away. Jake quickly hid behind a vendor booth to avoid being sighted. The three eventually left the area. “Phew, that was a close one!” Jake said.
“Ah bey! You wanna buy some conch or crawfish bey?” asked a local vendor behind the booth. Jake looked at the vendor’s pure white shellfish meat. “You guys eat that? That’s disgusting!” Jake said. “Ah well. Guess there’s only one thing to do. POOL TIME!” Jake said, taking off his clothes and tossing his four Poke Ball’s.
“Beedrill!” said Beedrill.
“Pika!” said Pikablu.
“Poooor!” said Porygon 2
“Scizor!” said Scizor.
Jake and his Pokemon then played in the resort pool.

Meanwhile, in the Below the Boardwalk Restaurant at the Shaba Resort, Jason, Sabrina and Lt. Surge were just finishing a fancy meal. “I’ll take care of the bills guys.” Jason said, as the waiter carried away their plates. The waiter returned with the bill. “I realize I’ve been a bit of a jerk, and I’m sorry.”
“Apology accepted, I guess.” Lt. Surge responded.
“Yeah, sure.” Sabrina said.
Jason’s face then returned to his stringent look. “I’m just going to be veeerrrrryyyy angry if my ultimate plan is foiled. Everyone thinks I captured all four of the Legendaries because I was greedy, but no. I have a plan to become the most Powerful Pokemon Trainer the world will ever know.”
“You’re not serious!” Lt. Surge said. “Me and Sabrina are official Kanto Gym Leaders with connections to Pokemon World Politics, I’m not gonna stand for this!” Sabrina reacted with silence.
“You had better keep this a Secret.” Jason said to Lt. Surge. “You really should know by now I have the power to kill you.” Jason said with that evil look in his eyes. “Now let’s go!” Jason said, standing from the table, putting on his hood and walking out of the restaurant with his Gym Leader cohorts. Jason, Sabrina and Lt. Surge was at the upper end of the Boat Harbour Resort. To the south of them was the Market and Bar. “Tonight seems like a good night for a ride.” Jason said, taking out one of his Poke Ball’s. “Go Rapidash!”
“NNNYYAAAA!” Rapidash said, as it was released from its Poke Ball for the first time in awhile. Jason mounted onto his Rapidash, and the three walked south towards the Market.

Jake was merrily prancing down the pier at night drinking a drink made from Butterscotch, Banana, Baileys and Kahlua. “Iiii swear! This drink is just genius!” Jake said to himself, guzzling down the 100% alcohol cocktail. “Ah! near-Full Moon tonight!” Jake said, admiring his favorite moon in the dark, autumn night. “Ah, I can’t wait for it to get cold!” Jake said, and then he spotted an upcoming flaming thing. “Hey! Is that a Pokemon!?” Jake said, approaching the fire horse Rapidash. “Wow, with all these “Chris, Steve & Bob” adventures I’ve been having lately, its nice to see some actual Pokemon for once.”
“Hey, wait a minute!” said the hooded man riding the Rapidash.
“Huh?” Jake said, looking up in horror at the hooded face of Jason, the Pokemon Trainer responsible for damaging the Pokemon World.
“It’s YOU! I’m not talking to you.” Jason said rudely.
“Jason, you need to STOP what you’re doing. You’re destroying everything around.” Jake said. “I know what revealing more of your Secrets will cause, but I’d rather die than let you go without trying to stop it.”
“Hahahaha!” Jason laughed evilly while halting his Rapidash. “You don’t know all of my Secrets. Tell them all, I have a copy of Red in my position.” Jason said, putting his hand into his pocket, and patting in. “Only one other person actually  knows all my Secrets, and I’ve essentially killed him.”
“Jason, you are awful. You will be thwarted.” Jake said. Jason looked away, and his Rapidash carried him away, leaving Jake to look onward as Jason vanished.
